Yeah, so it's true. I bought a big-ass truck, as in a 1993 Ford F-250, 7.3 Liter Diesel. Even crazier; Ariel and I are leaving on Monday to drive this big ass truck down the length of the Pacific coast from Berkeley to Pavones, Costa Rica. Going down the length of Baja and then taking the ferry from La Paz to Topolobampo. From there we make our way south along the west coast of mainland Mexico, stoping at a few key places along the way to slide a couple sans wetsuits. Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and finally Costa Rica are all on the itenerary for the month of May. The plan for June: hang ten in Pavones. We make our way back up in July, ending up back in Berkely sometime in the first week of August.
